What a three day weekend!
Here it is almost 9pm my time and I am
I have a reason though~
You know how Kristin, Reagan, and Farley joke about "tho thad" ? Well that is me now.
I am "tho thad" because today I got RETAINER!!! yes, a retainer. Two of them- one to sleep in and one to wear all day! It is so I don't bite off another temp!!
I had the incident with the pizza and then later that night- KABLOOIE!!! the other side!
I had big plans for the day- but I spent 2 hours at the dentist-
They are the clear ones that look like the whitening trays, but they still go up pretty high behind my teeth- therefore, causing my tongue to be attracted to it- in turn- making me sound LIKE SYLVESTER THE CAT!!!!
SUFFERIN' SUCCOTASH!~
Here are a few things I worked on this weekend~
I stared at a half a bag of Jelly Bellys from my Valentine Exchange: (I wanted to eat them, but I can't!)
Super Cute- Thank you to Michelle Willis! |
And I printed and cut out my Place Value Centers that I won from Rebecca at Teaching First
I got the idea for packaging them from Miss Leslie Ann over at Life in First Grade. When I print new ones- I make the new envelopes right away. And I grab a few here and there (centers i have already made) and set the envelopes the same way. It is a simple, cheap, and fast way to may a strong envelope and stay organized!
I had to walk away for a moment because my daughter needed help with her homework- Subatomic Theory Timeline- Really?
I teach elementary for a reason, folks.....
I hate how she waits til the last minute to get everything done......she must get that from the MR.
Sorry about the retainers :(
ReplyDeleteLove the canisters though! Super cute :0)

Why is it taking so long for your permanents to be ready?????!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd, just for the record, because I have to say this, and really, I shouldn't, but I have to . . . I STARTED THO THAD, AND THO THORRY, AND THO THERE. THERIOUSLY. Really, I did. Maybe I should have patented it because Reagan and Farley both used it tonight. But they'll admit it came from me (I think. I hope!) But for reals, I don't care. But I have to put it out there. Cuth ith true!
You have been so busy making the cutest things today!!!!!

Because it's me- that's why....if there is a way to complicate things, I will find it. lol....I'm not really an "Eyeore"...no rainy cloud- but the crap end of the stick does seem to find me quite often-:)
DeleteOn a positive note- they are being crafted at a "movie star lab" in California....whoo hoo- {they better be freakin' awesome!!}
The lisp thing is funny- no offense to anyone- but we teased and teased my daughter when she got her bite guards and had a lisp....one word- KARMA!~
(You should patent it- it's cute)
Yes ma'am Kristin is right she started it (the tho thorry thing) and I quickly stole it because it felt so comfortable coming right out of my retainer free mouth. I do feel tho thorry for you. Tho There!!! I feel like we are total BFFs Ms. Squirrels. Theriously.

Kristin explained to me the impetus of "tho thorry" and for some reason it won't stick....re-explain to me, for the third, maybe fourth time where this came from. I've theen it on other blogth and I can't remember - tho thorry. HA!
ReplyDeleteHurry up and get those teeth up to snuff so I can see the big reveal...it's driving me nutty {HA!}

OMG- My husband and I were tossing around names when I was pregnant with my Henry, and I was joking and said "Thor Luther" because it sounds like "sore loser" with a lisp. Just made me think of that...
ReplyDeleteTho thorry about the teeth... I know your retainer pain- I still pop mine in from high school on occasion just to make sure my teeth aren't moving! haha :)

Your teeth are going to be beautiful!!!!! :) :) :) Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteAnd just so you know, my whole family jokes about a black cloud that follows us. Really. And we're not Negative Nancy's or bitter Betty's or Sour Sara's. We're just telling the truth. So I get it.
